Great barrel! I would have blindly bet on 1st Fill.
Rather on the fruity, spicy side with light vanilla.
Not overly complex, of course, but very tasty.
Playing with water is not necessary but possible.
This is how an ex-bourbon must be.
Full nose. Great fruit. Vanilla. No alcohol. Very beautiful.
The fruits are mixed, apple, pear, some orange, ripe banana.
The vanilla is slightly tart.
Absolutely nothing disturbing.
Crunchy start with nice spice. In the foreground again the great fruits that are more ripe in the mouth. Here it gets sweeter with more vanilla notes.
This is where the barrel comes through best with oak and vanilla.
Spice plays with vanilla and the fruit compote remains.
The vanilla stays the longest. Here the malt can really score again.
