Wondering how involved he have been.
The label says "smoother and more refined". Maybe that's why I find it to be a very gentle rye whiskey.
Nothing too exciting or engaging, but it goes down very easy and I'm far from discouraged from trying other versions, or should I say other Doors.
Not too expensive, so I'm pleased with the value for money ratio.
Nice enough nose, I like it.
Gingerbread and cinnamon.
I don't get much vanilla, it's more a floral sweetness.
A bit more vanilla than on the nose, but it's not too sweet.
Light peppery wood spice with a dry feeling.
Spearmint bubble gum.
Fairly long and a bit drying.
Some spice remains for a while, depending on the size of your sip.
