It has been my 900th rate on WB.
Perfect dram to celebrate this event!

I understand why it has been sold out before getting to shelves, it is simply wonderful.
The warm and sweet notes from wood enriches the light Tulli distillate.

    I had blind tasting,
would never have come across a Tullibardine let alone a Highlander. The barrel did a decent job. Nevertheless, he has his moments and who really likes sherry is served here.

    A really fine drop.

The typical sherry aromas in the nose. Raisins, dates, generally dark fruits. Light cocoa or coffee notes.

In the mouth, the dark fruit strikes again. Then the dram opens up further and the notes become finer. You can differentiate them better. It is probably due to the slight spiciness that resonates in the background. Not dominant but exactly so that the pure dark sweetness doesn't kill you.

The finish is medium long for me. Light wood aromas resonate with the sweetness.

A really successful bottling of cadenheads which unfortunately is very difficult to get.

Nose: Chocolate, forest fruits, sherry, raisins, oranges
Taste: It has an intense flavor from the first sip. Sherry, of course, with the addition of herbs. A good combination of sherry with herbs.
Rating: 90 | 100 A long chocolate ending with a hint of sherry. Good Tuli.

Dried fruits, raisins, dried bananas, sponge cake, fruit cake, orange marmalade, vanilla, honey, toffee, nice old leather, fresh cut tobacco leaves, menthol

A bit anonymous to begin with, opens up very slowly. Spices, peppercorn, hints of vanilla, menthol, surprisingly low sweetness, herbal notes, dried oregano, tobacco, leather, barley

Really nice, long, and warm. Slightly dry, leaves tobacco and leather lingering
