Bacon-spicy smoke, immediately intense aroma of dried herbs. Nutmeg, pepper, clove powder. Damp autumn leaves, somewhat loamy. Warm caramel. Slowly a few sherry notes are starting to appear: pickled raisins, flavored pipe tobacco. Initially a little aggressive in the nose, it becomes milder and softer as time goes on. The (peat) smoke remains spicy, intense and thick as a constant.

Strong start with cool and intense smoke like in the nose. Here the sherry barrel participation comes to the fore. Dark chocolate, freshly ground coffee beans, raisins, dried figs. Slightly dry with spicy old wood chips. A fine mix of herbs that lays on the tongue (not as intense as in the nose). The smoke remains on the tongue a constant - very welcome - companion.

Medium to long and only slightly dry finish. Peaty, greasy. Machine oil, Wadden Sea at low tide. Mild herbal notes. Coffee beans, nougat chocolate, red grapes.
