    COLOUR: dark copper (without dye)

    - a good whisky, BUT unfortunately very disappointing
    compared to older Cozy Winter bottlings
    - Compared to the Cozy Winter I from 2015, for example, this one loses
    here at all levels
    - a maximum of a very tight 8 in front
    - the old Glen Els bottlings were in for the price
    Alright, this new one is up for the quality shown
    • Nose
      present but also very strong smell of sherry, the alcohol is still noticeable, dark berries, light spices, oak
    • Taste
      without water: burns slightly on the lips, alcohol pushes forward, followed by oak and spice;

      mW: more pleasant and better, soft full-bodied start, zero smoke (feel nothing from Woodsmoked), peach, plum, fruity notes strongly pronounced but unfortunately also the "burning youth" still strongly noticeable, flowery
    • Finish
      short strong burning finish ;
      medium-long warm aftertaste

  6. Wild Thing scored this whisky 88 points Expert Senior

    • Nose
      The first thing that flows out of the glass is beautiful smoked ham. After a while in the glass, a nice sweet appears, which mixes with malty and fruity aromas. But it also has a pleasant spice and roasted aromas.
    • Taste
      Strong and sweetly spicy start, followed by dark fruits such as raisins and overripe plums. Chocolate can also be tasted, but I would say that it goes towards dark chocolate. Light smoke covers the whole, very pleasantly everything fits together nicely.
    • Finish
      Long and spicy alternating with fruit, chocolate and oak.
