Nose: Many Parallels to a BenRiach Peated! Peat, leather, cold smoke and smoked ham notes rise. It continues with coal, pencil leads, old attic, honeycomb and some wax. Cereals, herbs and dried orange peel and lime slices complete the entry.
Taste: Round and balanced with delicious jams, leather, cardboard, herbs, honey and a load of peat. Getting better and better with sweet caramel, malt, smoky ham, chocolate and cocoa. With notes of mocha and creamy coffee, it goes to the finish.
Finish: Medium length - tighter and drier with increasingly smoky mocha and espresso notes. The emerging residual sweetness - marked by honey and orange liqueur - is lined with moist peat.
