It's nice but lacks the waxiness that makes a great Clynelish great.
    • Nose
      86 86
Vanilla, lime, limestone, honey and caramel.
    • Taste
      85 85
Sweet lime, vanilla, caramel, tangerine, honey and cocoa. A maltiness in the back which turns into cardboard when adding a drop of water: Don't!
    • Finish
      85 85
Vanilla, caramel, sweet lime, chocolate cookie, pepper and smoke.

    A pleasant spring mole.
    • Nose
Fresh, mineral, drying stones after the rain under the bright spring sun, lemon, dried fruits, dried apricots, dried kumquats, papaya, sweet cotton wool, freshly mown grass.
    • Taste
Compote of lemon, orange, dried apricots and ginger, a little oak, burnt sugar - do not say that it strikes a variety of components, but in general it is very bad, combined.
    • Finish
Delicate ginger on a light sweet background of dried apricots and papaya, a little mango.

Very distinctive fruity whisky, full flavor. Is there a (certainly not disturbing) sharp edge, which if desired can be suppressed with only a few drops of water. Pretty long finish.
    • Nose
Fruity, citrus / orange peel, lemon in background. Also some salty and spicy, cinnamon.
    • Taste
Powerful, somewhat sharp / peppery, but also fruity: Orange (zest). Full taste, spicy.
After a few drops of water: Much less sharp, now full of fruity.
    • Finish
Medium to long, powerful and spicy. Again citrus / orange peel.

The 46% give the taste a very good attack, very nice. Little to powerful nose, but I can live with that.
    • Nose
Powerful to the nose, tingling nose feeling. Orange zest and that's it, I can't feel anything else, it's little to powerful for me.
    • Taste
Powerful and strong, good spicy attack, fresh and fruity. Orange zest and nectarines.
    • Finish
      Long finish with spicy notes.
