For me the nose is pleasant, but not very clear; wonderful things are complemented with unclear, slightly 'chemical' aromas I cannot name;
best for me is the taste with a rich body, too;
the finish is at first very good, but after a few minutes out of the wood appears a very strong mouldy fungus note - quite penetrant ...

From the bottle comes honey, caramel, jams, the sweetness of apricots (and hints of pears and peaches), milk chocolate.
From the glass: noble spice, bitter-sweet old citrus, vanilla bean, milk chocolate, pleasant malty sweetness, later oranges, sourish wood, Kiwi peal, some peaches, 'aromatic scouring powder', bright fermented fruits.
Also some not very clear wood aromas and 'chemical' notes appear. -
Spicy sweetness, creamy mouthfeel, sweet-sour oranges, citrus, much honey, heather, apricots, yellow jams, some wood smoke, pear jelly, sweet apples, pleasant wood (at first ...); later nice citrus sourness, some Demerara sweetness, hints of cocoa powder, coconut shell.
-
Garden herbs, fruit and jam sweetness, very nice vanilla bean, honey, smoke, (first) nice oakiness, salt, mild celery ('Stangensellerie') and green salad, green grass, fermented bright fruits.
