official information:
This rounded blend is finished in O’Hara’s Irish stout casks resulting in the quintessential expression of Dublin: the communion in one glass of the jar and the drop.
Full of aromas of ripe pears and apple drops, the stout cask brings malty notes of digestive biscuits and toasted marshmallow, as well as nutmeg spice. On tasting you are met by flavours of candied ginger dipped in chocolate, violets and vanilla pods. The stout cask lends a creaminess to the palate and dark chocolate notes that dominate the finish, rounded by intense nutmeg spice.
Best enjoyed straight up with just a drop of water to release the aromas.
NOSE: Deep amber with flickers of ruby red. Immediately note the floral fruitiness & hops complimented with an herbal and oaky characteristic.
PALATE: Juicy plums with sweet caramel and rounded with a rich tea biscuit like nuttiness.
FINISH: Chocolate orange with lingering earthy spices and subtle touch of malty freshness
