wonderful old-style spring bench - the pure distille - great lollipop whisky
    • Nose
      92 92
Fresh and mineral, chalky, maritime spray strongly swirled up on the coast, citrus and lime notes, salt crust, salted honeydew melon, a nuance of menthol
    • Taste
      93 93
very creamy, green campino sweets, freshly cut hazelnut sticks, salty and maritime, iced cucumber, green melon, very subtle dry oak, very complex
    • Finish
      92 92
very soft, but the typical maritime distillate character stays extremely long in the cheek pouches and in the throat

It is so creamy smooth, a fine Springbank one of the best I have had.

If money or availability was no problem I would give this to all the people who say "I tried whisky when I was younger and I couldn`t get on with it"

I think something of this quality would change their mind.

    Excellent.
    • Nose
Just how I like it, honey, pineapple and a trace of menthol.

There is also salted caramels and hints of pear.

      So elegant and refined.
    • Taste
Mega smooth and I was temped to say a little thin but it is far from that because you get a wave of full fat sweetness mixed in with custard cream biscuits.

It develops on  lemon sherbet fizz and a touch of caramel and lemon Turkish delight.
    • Finish
Quite long but very smooth with it

This should be a so called "House And Tree"-Label-Bottling (Vintage)
