Color
White wine
Nose

lemon and lemon zest (loads of them, smells pretty sour, but in a very pleasant way) and pears, much fruitier than the 1992, and much less of this wet streets, wet concrete, limestone, chalk, wax

Taste

quiet a big body for such a light malt, gentle, fruity start, then some green pepper evolves, the lemon zests grow

Finish

much bigger than the 1992 - at the end some very light smoke tunes in

Comments

I prefer this Bushmills to the Cooley (1992), it's fruitier and much bigger 84/85

Color
Pale straw
Nose

Pear, lime, vanilla, apple, caramel, straw, candle wax and a whiff of smoke.

Taste

Apple, pear, citrus, vanilla, caramel and pepper.

Finish

Caramel, apple, pear, peach, light spices and a whiff of smoke.

Comments

Tasting note from a miniature.
Less grassy than the 1993, more caramel instead and it has a bit more (oily) body, which is what that one misses. It seems a bit more mature than that one. And it's less malty than the 1995. I think I like this one best of the three.

Can´t understand the high rating to be honest. Tastes alcoholic and kinda boring to me.

Color
Gin clear
Nose

Clean, citrus, tangerines, malt underneath.

Taste

Hugely fruity and fresh. Almost fizzing.

Finish

Medium to long. Lovely waves of juicy fruits coming again.

Comments

This is lovely stuff. I could drink it anytime. Yum!

It's better to have drunk it all than never to have drunk at all.
