Find it a little more uncomfortable in the mouth than the Ardbeg Uigeadail. Still a nice oil in the mouth and this smoke is just amazing! Find it a tad too burning in the finish. But cool, complex and balanced. I like!

They know how to pick up some good bourbon barrels on Ardbag to make an excellent batch!
Special thanks for the smoked sausages !!! Gouache is expressed with water, as in Caol Ila.

    • Nose
Sweetness of fruit and honey, burnt wires, malt tones, earthy tones, a little dust.
    • Taste
Sweet-smoky, smoked sausages, phenolicity and phenolic bitterness, apricot and quince are weakly expressed from fruits. Water doesn't change anything.
    • Finish
Long and phenolic with slight tannin adjustments

Smell: The top note is still the familiar mineral and tomato-flavored soda biscuits, but it is just a facet. Soon, the woody aroma led by oak takes over the main theme, while the peat flavor has been relegated to the third line. After adding water, The body of the wine became turbid, a lot of coriander seeds and olives, as if celebrating liberation, leaped out for joy, very pleasing

Drinking: The wine is refreshing and bubbling, but the strong burning sensation and tannins begin to attack from side to side, instantly petrifying the entire mouth, as if losing the taste for a few seconds, and the final rhyme has a dense and sweet woody aroma. Huigan gradually narrowed

Feeling: I like Woody, Go Way very much. In addition, I can still find Ardbeg in it, and find aromas evolved from oak barrels, such as coriander seeds and olives. I think it is the evolution of the new wine's Fruity This result is pleasing and beyond expectations. Although it will bring some negative effects to the taste, are young people looking for such an impact? Even if he said that he'eats the bucket too deep', I still think this is a work with rich experience, just like his name. Corryvreckan whirlpool, only very brave boaters dare to approach, because as long as they are not small they will fall into it

(This is an old note in my notebook, using the old scoring system. Although this will result in a high score, I still want to show this score.)

Very interesting and strong drink. Moreover it is interesting from the moment of opening till the very last sip. Interesting whisky even on Summer.

Strong explosion of the flavor comes with notes of peaty smoke, citruses, citric zest, dry grass and vanilla. Some sharpness and spices (bitter zest!) should be noticed but it is not a surprise according to the drink's strength. The flavor is very stable and it the whisky takes approximately 40 minutes to be opened. After that appears notes of green fruits, barley malt sweetness and not-roasted almond.
    • Taste
      89 89
Taste harmonically continues palette of the flavor adding hint of something like... dusty grass in the warm Summer evening.
    • Finish
      86 86
Finish is long and stable. Taste ends with notes of citruses, zest and peaty smoke. The warming one.
