Pretty bizar whisky. Very young, to be honest, 5 years was way too short, this could easily have matured a couple of years longer. But still... I really kind of like these kind of whiskies, frsh, sweet and fruity, of course this unintegrated alcohol with its bitterness, but I can forgive. Overall it's a quite sensational dram, far from dull, actually pretty glad I got a whole bottle of this stuff.
Very fresh and fruity, and a lot of sweetness. A lot of vanilla, sometimes some stinging alcohol. Floral notes. Powder sugar, sweet waffles, like standing at a 'oliebollenkraam'. Pineapple as well.
Strong, intense, very fresh, sweet and fruity. Citrus, pineapple, vanilla, waffles. Also some caramel. Alcohol not quite integrated yet, some bitter edge underneath.
Now suddenly it gets smoother, a lot of winegums, cand-like. Pineapple too. After some time alcohol beats in, long finish, vanilla, and again this bitter edge, grapefruits. Then sometimes it gets smoother, a moment later harsh and merciless.
