Notes from an online blind tasting ...
Starts with dry wood. A little paint color. Becomes moldier and slightly brackish. Then it develops more and more maritime. Sea breeze. The smoke is more ashy and dry. The underlying fruit is rather light and now goes more in the fermented direction. A touch of caraway seeds and bread dough.
With a little time in the glass, more mineral. Dry cigarette tobacco. Old, worn leather. A trace of lovage and an overripe fruit sweetness. Vanilla and a little caramel.
With more time in the glass, it gets darker, greasy and waxy. Class!!!
Soft but spicy start. Then a good seasoning. Slightly chili. Earthy dry. With ashy smoke. Very waxy with a pinch of salt. The fruit is now moving more towards smoked raspberries and plums. Dark chocolate and espresso bitterness. The doughy nuances with caraway seeds also have a taste. Partly has a sweetness that reminds me of Haribo cola bottles. With a slightly sour lemon.
Medium length. First sweet with ashy smoke. Then the seasoning again.
