Harmonious and beautifully balanced. The base notes remind me of Balvenie. Nice thing!
Rich full of sherry start without predominating. And overlay everything. Soft honey sweetness with plenty of dried fruit, raisins, figs and plum must. There is also a nice, slightly sour component, possibly from the Amarone barrel? As a contrast. Fits well and is quite harmonious.
Subtle spices of lavender, coriander and some cinnamon around the background.
Really good "nosing whiskey".
Neatly spicy start with ripe fruits like plums, strawberries, oranges. I would rather give the sweet one to the vanilla, which subtly resonates. Nice peppery sharpness. Almost towards ginger. The sour notes turn into the ripe fruit. In addition, slightly bitter and dry. Alcohol presses quite well, but is still very well integrated for me.
Medium-length finish, drier with dark chocolate, oak flavor,
