    I am always happy about a new sherry barrel from this series.
    Usually the whiskys from it are nice and dark (the eye drinks, but for me it is not a quality feature).
    The very balanced taste and the intense sherry have always made my mouth water.

      Very balanced sherry and toffee smell, nice and sweet and balanced
    • Taste
      Intense, malty, dark chocolate appears
    • Finish
      Medium length, the dark chocolate is completely retained, overall very round.

    Sweet and strong, nice clean sherry, plum, some oak, leather, the spirit still brings strength and sets something against the barrel without being able to set filigree accents. This is a barrel whisky, sweet and sherry tasting and if you are looking for that then it is the right one.

    My first Edradour and I love it. Sherry bomb with dry fruits and lots of oak and leather. Not very complex and sweet, but for 10 years incredibly good. For approximately 50 € one does not want to drink anything else. I hope I will be able to enjoy a 15 or 18 year old from such a barrel.

    Nice ex-sherry. Maybe almost too much sherry.

      Dark grape juice and plum compote, light malty, a sherry bomb already in the nose
    • Taste

      Dark fruit, minimal smoky notes, strong and spicy tones come to the fore, not as fruity here as on the nose
    • Finish

      Long with oak notes and here again some fruit that was so recognizable in the nose

    25 minutes in the air and some water let the great fruitiness get through better. Charged barrel, however, the depth of the older age is missing. Compared to barrels 62 (2019) and 387 (2020) lighter and more towards bright fruits.

      Fruity, sweet, somewhat reminiscent of banana and milk, sherry, spicy, noticeably more aromatic and floral with a little water

      Tart and dry oak
