A wonderful "old school" whisky that really holds together. A good maturation combined to a good distillate bottled in cask strenght with no filtration or colouring. This one hit my tastebuds very well.

Vanilla sweetness, white currant, winegums, malt, heaps of malt, brine, candlewax, slightly honeyed, dirty in a good way. Reminds me very much of a Clynelish.

Very very malty, briny, sweet, vanilla, oily, thick, cocoa powder, mouthfilling, salty fudge.

Dried hay in the aftertaste with a sweet note going on and on and on...

Wow! This one I really like! With all that vanilla, saltiness, oiliness and wax playing around in a very good balance and the aftertaste that lasts forever. A mighty fine Old Pultney and would I dare to say a blast from the past!

A strong ex-bourbon barrel of 10 years. In addition to the typical Pulteney salt notes, some sulfur and strong herbal aromas are in the foreground. The grape fruit plays second fiddle. The finish is intense, but at most medium-long.

Very malty, salty, dirty, slightly sulphurous. The 58.6% are also quite noticeable. By no means uncomfortable, but also not for the faint of heart.

Holla, the forest fairy, there are again a lot of intense almost 59%! Strongly tingling, the seasoning with salt, intense herbs and also a little sulfur dominates the mouth. In addition, a pleasant ex-bourbon barrel grape sweetness that balances out the flavor well. Again, nothing for the faint of heart; undoubtedly a pleasure for cask strength lovers of maritime malts.

The finish is dominated by spice and a little sulfur, strong and at most medium-long.
