Sherry, obviously.. or very obvious sherry notes. Despite the abv, the alcohol is well hidden among heavy curtains of rum-soaked sultanas and bitter-cherries preserve. Warm, sticky caramel.
Chocolate and bergamot-infused black tea with some rose and violet petals here and there.. a hint of ash and smoke floating above the heavy oils..
a very clean and lean nose that is difficult to pick apart into individual notes, but composing a very rewarding, sleek whole..
Silk on the tongue.. cinnamon and anise dipped in Honey.. honeyed vinnegar.. bitter herbs and .. some black trufle sauce for a powerful umami sensation.. some dirt and pepper at the end to give this liquid some roughness.. fleetingly, the memory of heavilly sherried Ledaigs comes to mind..
Long, but unexpectedly shy.. oily eucalyptus, sweetened absinth.. in the end, the Very yummie feeling of having just eaten a cocoa-heavy, tasty bar of slightly salty chocolate
