SchottenDicht scored this whisky 90 points

The nose is incredible (92p.), Soaked prune, cotton candy, sherry lovers will never get their money's worth more than here. The aroma is also great (91P.), More of what the nose already suspected, dark fruit, candy. Without water I find the finish too short, unnuanced and burning with fire (88P.). A total of 90 points, you can certainly think about 91 points.
The price is steep, but it's the year 2020. Glendronach hasn't cut out such a good young SC for a long time. I recently had a couple of Glengoynes playing in a similar league, but they may cost more. From this perspective, everyone has to decide for themselves whether this whisky, which is actually € 50 too expensive, is worth it. Given the lack of competition, I say: yes.
