Overall the whiskies couldn't hide to be from the same family. Very dense and absolutely packed with flavour in a way that I can't remember tasting before. Seems to be a style that is rather targeted to be bottled at youger age which is no contradiction to maturity here. Not sure the whisky could take a longer time in the cask, there is no reason for it either.
I wish I had more than the 25ml. There is lots to explore.
Caramel, some wood, sweetness, tobacco, ripe fried bananas with melted vanilla icecream
the body feels lighter then the nose suggested, quite a biting wood influence on the tongue which is slightly bitter, that works well with the sweetness. A nice spicyness rounds the dram.
medium+ finish, sweetness, bitterness, warming, cinnamon, Ben & Jerry's cookies & cream, elegant and a bit prickly on the tongue.
