Irritating is the artificially "red" color, atypical for Oloroso ...
Otherwise the candidate can convince

Nose

Nose: redcurrant jelly and balsamic vinegar, rosemary, quinces in red wine, dried figs, star anise and toasted coconut
Palate: raspberry coulis, doughnut peaches, plum preserve and amaretti
Finish: spiced blood orange and grenadine with a side of dolly mixtures

With water
Nose: mastic and arrowroot, plastic
Palate: creamier but also more muted, water is unnecessary
Finish: icing sugar

I really like it, the best of the series (with Elementa and Tribute) for me
Easy drinking with good PLV

Nose

nice sherry becomes more !!, raisins, light oak becomes more, light dark caramel, polish, red berries, old wood, nutty (walnut?)

Taste

full, oily and creamy on the palate
Raisins, red berries, red Haribo bear, really great sherry, slightly spicy, sweetness comes

Finish

medium to long
warm, slightly spicy, slightly oak, good sherry, tart, espresso, dark chocolate so 70%

More interesting and drinkable than The Elementa from the same Traveller's Exclusive line. However, it is still no miracle. Rather simpler and much more interesting in smell than in taste. An attractive drink for beginners in the world of whisky.

Nose

The influence of sherry barrels is known at the first sniff and they dominate in the aroma. Lacquered furniture, cane sugar, dried strawberries or raspberries, dates and milk chocolate. Mint and rosemary flash.

A few drops of water bring caramel and toffifee.

Taste

Rather drier, a bit artificial and relatively simple taste. Jelly with blackcurrant flavor, strawberry pudding, cane sugar and mint tea.

A few drops of water dilute the final impression. The grassy taste dominates, which is gradually replaced by the impression of bitterness of the citrus peel.

Finish

Rather indistinct and only really slightly woody and herbal. At the same time, the artificial fruity taste fades. Slightly mint.

After a few drops of water, it becomes bitter and goes significantly into the peel of citrus and the leaf of a dandelion.

I think the palate is somewhat behind the nose and finish. This reminded me of cold December nights in Europe and Christmas markets with mulled wine. A very seasonal drink for me.

initially seems like just sherry but mutates into redcurrant jam with some petrol, crystallised ginger

Taste

honeysuckle, a bit dry but the lightness of the spirit prevents it from being offensively dry in that regard

A well-built Macallan Sherry Oak grade sherry whisky. Surprised by mezcal in the aroma.
N: 21 T: 21 F: 21 B: 21

Nose

Cognac, sherry, raisins, prunes, grain tones, vanilla, chocolate, figs, spices, herbaceous, mezcal, almonds

Taste

Watery, sweet (sweetness 6/10), salt, dried fruits, figs, peaches, pastries, quince sourness and dryness, well cut.

Finish

Stable, dry, sweet, chocolate, wood.

Fresh apple, baked apple with a little cinnamon, wild berry jam, blackberries, grasses, some earth, cherry chewing gum, dark honey, caramel, plum jam, milk chocolate

Nose: Oak, Sweet citrus, baking spices, raisins, vanilla, very sweet.

Palate: bitter up front, the vanilla and toffee goes away but the spices remain, plums

Finish: oak, mild

Smell: Noticeably fresh fruit notes, especially red berries, raisins and oranges. Behind it there is some toffee and a well balanced spice note.
Taste: Very gentle start, I find the fruit aroma a little weaker in the mouth than in the nose. But here are dried fruits in the foreground, figs, raisins and plums. A little nut is added and a slight dryness sets in.
Finish: Medium length, some dark chocolate and a fine oak spice spreads out.
Conclusion: A very balanced whisky that is not surprising and easy to drink.
