    Acts much older, simple sherry board without edges, alcohol very well integrated - the low draft prevents a higher rating

    Tasted Blind in a tasting competition. Acts much older and lower abv then the numbers show. Great dram!

    Color: espresso with mahogany tones. Is that supposed to be a whisky?

      Plum compote, fermented cherries, blueberries, over-ripe mirabelles. A little bit of wood. A little goulash. The alcohol is not felt.

      Very little alcoholic! To enjoy pure. Incidentally, the same as in the nose, with meat and plums are stronger.

      Medium to (maybe) long. Plums, mirabelles, meat.

      Conclusion: Above all, the well-integrated alcohol should be emphasized. Good sherry-ripened whisky without sulfur. More whisky and - especially! - more wood than sherry would have been better.
