- Gorgeous nose! The taste is flat
- A delicious Port Charlotte. A spicy malt with nice sweetness and the great PC smoke. I like the.
Incense. Smoked. Leather and tobacco. Juniper. Wet wood. Also some citrus notes. Beef with BBQ rub from the smoker. In addition, the sherry barrel.
After the first sip, there is also some sweetness in the nose.
Much sweeter in the mouth than in the nose. Grape jelly. A barbecue sauce that is pretty sweet. Then a herbal mix. The meat from the smoker was sprinkled with some herbal salt and pepper.
The smoke is getting colder and drier. Tobacco. Tree bark. Oak spice.
- Great aromas on the nose, surprisingly complex, superbly integrated alcohol, hard for me to dissect. On the palate, it eases slightly, but reflects a large part of the flavors found when Verriechen. Again, no disturbing alcohol, but a strong start.
The finish is very long and pleasant without becoming stale or bitter. Here he puts something back for me.
Overall, very successful and anything but boring.
