Interesting, smooth and delicate peated whisky. Flavor I really reach and combines elements of Islay whisky and something fully-fruity and delicious. Notes of tropical fruits and citric are really strong and sensitive. So in my opinion it is a good value for its price. P.S. Is it Laphroaig?
Smoked peat, citruses, caramel, mango, banana wrapped into light notes of acetone, iodine and oak wood.
Smoother than nose but echoes it opening delicate notes of smoked peat, roasted barley, smoked meat with sweet malt hints.
The rum and smoke aromas harmonize very well. The nuttiness in the finish surprises in a positive sense.
Cold ashes and extinguished campfires are instantly on the nose, plus grassy-fresh peat and heather. Creamy-sweet exotic fruits spread like bananas, pineapples, physalis and honeydew melon. The rum finish is noticeable.
Cold peat ash in the mouth, then sweet rum and creamy blossom honey, with pineapple, banana and vineyard peach.
The finish is creamy and nutty with coconut, vanilla and almond. Finally, seaweed and a wet campfire with smoked fish.
