Whisky Reviews for Ledaig 21-year-old

- Wow, unfortunately just a sample, because this is really great stuff.
Excellent and pleasant smell of earthy smoky notes in combination with Manzanilla sherry and a fruit basket.
I love these dirty earthy Ledaig expressions. Where the 10y old is quite aggressive, here the alcohol and beautiful smoke is very well integrated with fruit and dark chocolate flavors.
Long and pleasant, tasteful and fruity spicy notes till the very end.
- Extensively tasted at Tobermory. A brilliant drop.
Great combination of manzanilla sherry and fine smoke.
With £ 150 not cheap - but really good!
dry fruit (raisins, dates), honey, smoke, hints of vanilla, spice (leather, oak);
with water: an intense, oily fruity onset, dates, oranges (zest), fine smoke aromas, oak, cocoa, dark chocolate; rich and complex;
long finish, dry sherry; following spicy oak;
