At first I scored it 88 but after spending a time with it its 84 now. Simply this is just a mono dimensional whisky but not bad one. The age is very hard to detect. It lacks depth and definition. Hope it will improve with time

Elegant sweetish nose that transfers to salted peanuts after while and then back to sweet clean sherry, Pear drops, but not much else. Not much heat on the nose though and the whole smells like candy. Cannot detect the wood

Arrival is hot and not much development. It goes to sherry profile but bright side one, More PX than oloroso, sugars, cotton candy, pear drops, New make, spice and heat. I was hoping for the heat to dissipate with aeration but it doesn't change much with time.
    • Finish
      82 82
Hot, sherry notes, stone fruits, not very entertaining ( alcoholic ) and echoing for a while

Sticky sweet in the nose. Boiled, caramelized apple? Also pear. Delicious, sherry with a lot of fruit and somehow just sticky sweet. I don't know what to say more about it. Maybe that speaks for a certain one-dimensionality ...
Gentle, sweet, even in the mouth. Strong pear compote and sherry. Pear boiled in sherry? or so :-)
The finish is long and has some pepper, oak and slightly bitter notes, along with more caramel, apple and pear. Slowly I've overused the word pear, no ....

    Delicious, drinks well.

Sweet, alcohol well integrated, dried fruit, baked bananas, raisins

Long-lasting sherry notes, light pepper, bitter wood, resin

Nose: dirty sherry nose with clearly noticeable sulfur, acidic, furniture polish, somehow also a bit like yogurt, a little dark honey, herbs, orange jam, bitter walnut, a little burnt, caramel and a lot of oak.

Taste: neat spice with a sweet oiliness, also quite acidic in taste, again the burnt, peppery hot, tart chocolate, oak, leather

Finish: medium length, the acid gives way to the oak, raisins and dark chocolate, it remains a bit tart on the cheeks.

Unfortunately, he has some bad marks that have a very negative impact on the overall result. For me it is good on some days but not at all on some. But you can also play a little with water because it will be a little more pleasant

Quite a wooden board and an idiosyncratic bottling, but it has its charm.
    • Nose
Bready, fruity, rather lighter fruit, looks a bit youthful, stormy, the oak is rather musty and clearly present in the background, but combines beautifully with the breaded sourdough notes. A few classic sherry flavors (dried fruits) are also present, but go down a bit. With water, the whisky really opens up, lots of sherry, a lot of sweetness, bready and musty aromas are there, but take a back seat and complement rather than dominate.
    • Taste
pure, quite strong and surprisingly sweet, with a little oak, bready aromas and a sweet sherry note. With water, too, significantly more sherry notes, raisins, but also a lot more tart oak.
    • Finish
a bit tart, light sherry, very spicy, a lot of oak towards the end, again rather the dry, not sweet variety. With water, the finish is also noticeably tart.

I actually like it better every time, great easy drinking, no bad notes, nice sherry influence, especially in the mouth, definitely not a bad buy!
    • Nose
It looks very thick and rich in aromas, creamy, with a lot of caramel, red fruit, strawberry, which also gives it a sweet, light roasted aroma the sherry comes through more clearly, now a little chocolate, patience and a little warming are paying off
    • Taste
oily, sweet, chocolate, raisins, here clearly sherry, then also caramel, some leather, espresso, behind it then a slight oak influence, a hint of mint over everything, I like it very much, delicious to drink
    • Finish
sweet, grapes, some salt, dark chocolate on the palate, then a bit tart, medium length

The vanilla yogurt on the nose is really exceptional and I really like it. Unfortunately, the whisky also has a few bad notes (quark, sulfur), and apart from the very nice refill sherry character, unfortunately not much to offer.
    • Nose
Very strong and dark nose, plums, milk chocolate, coffee beans. Behind it rather unusual flavors, vanilla yogurt, curd cheese, cheese and yeast. Apple Cake. Some sulfur.
    • Taste
Medium start. Strong vanilla and caramel, apples and honey. The oak slowly takes over, becomes more spicy, forest honey, dark nougat.
    • Finish
Medium. Strong oak, milk coffee, vanilla, dark chocolate.
