Great variation on the ten year. Retains a freshness without having too much levity, nice tobacco without dragging the Ardbeg down too heavily.

Mint and tobacco, some olive oil and rosemary and salt, green tobacco leaves, something piney and resinous, oceanic without being straight iodine or seaweed. Saltwater brine, green olives. A small date. Some wintergreen. Muscle sprain ointment. Butter and brown sugar. With water: a little more cigar box, mint tea bag, a few burnt raisins.

Salt and pepper, herbaceous and smoked mint leaves, more pipesmoke than woodsmoke. Some cedar or evergreen sap. Sweet but not sugary sweet, more herbal sweetness. A wave of nuts with water.

Finish: menthol, petroleum rub, cigar box tobacco sweetness, antiseptic. Medium.
