Whisky reviews for Convalmore 1975 Sc

2 users have left 2 reviews for this whisky. Average rating is 88.69 points.

  1. Volanne scored this whisky 87 points Expert Senior

A nice zesty-fruity-bitter combo. Not unlike the well known Glen Ord 30yo OB.
    • Nose
Very fragrant, with lots of cider apple, and some nice exotic notes. Pineapple leaves and a hint of coconut. Acid drops. Very zesty (more on lime than on lemon, actually), not unlike a high end white rum.
    • Taste
Sweeter, with more vanilla now. Remains quite zesty though. Very nice, but less entertaining than the nose.
    • Finish
Rather short, with a slight exotico-grassy bitterness.

  3. Malt Hans scored this whisky 90 points Connoisseur

Fruity and malty aroma, pepper, mango,

coconut, pear, cloves, furniture polish, floral honey, gorgonzola and

smoke. Vanilla sweet taste, pear, mint, anise, lemon, floral honey,

almonds and malt. Long, spicy and sweet end.
