My bottle was extremely similar to the photos here, the only difference being the words "Idrati" and "Gradi" on the front label not being in capital letters on mine.
Certainly this dram's strongest suit. Particularly impressive at first opening - old-fashioned sherry and a honeyed sweetness. Holds together well, with metallic and celery notes emerging.
A real mixed bag - initially rich and somewhat gamey, but periodically a distinct and unpleasant soapy/bitter taste arises. The overall impression is also a bit thin for 43%, but then it's been in the bottle a long time and mine had suffered a fair bit of evaporation.
Limited, as you'd expect, and troubled by the occasional bitterness from the palate.
