- The lemon honey and oak makes it an above average beverage.
tree fruit, peach, honey, wood, pepper ethanol, cask flavor.
honey, apple, tobacco, leather, slight bitter almond, lemon, oaky, pepper
honey, lemon, almond, pepper
- This has that lovely matly sweetness with a bed of fresh straw. While not as sweet, this follows right along with the nose and finishes with the straw. This is very good if not the most complex.
Sweet with cereals, some grass, light fruits (grapes, pears, but also some apples), behind that a slight note of perfume / soap, which disappears again
With a little time, fresh fruits become more fermented
With water: get more acidic
sour start, tingling on the tongue, oak present, hardly sweet anymore, with grapes and pears
Creamier with water and a little less oak flavor
Grape skins, even slightly waxy after a while
Add some dark chocolate with water and some freshly cut wood
No surprise: Ben Nevis distillate meets wood, nice combination!
