Here I do another test, vlt. I just had a bad day ...
> the test after a few months was not better either.
What irritates me personally is the fact that many whisky connoisseurs love and praise the whisky, while a no less large number dislike the whisky and describe it as too bitter. Vlt. the 6600 bottles were filled in "internal" batches, while the one barrel selection was very good, and the other tranche did not consist of such good barrels ... is only a guess, since I can not explain the clear differences - different Tastes or not.
Sherry aroma along with red dried fruit, but not dominant. The malt note is there, but not so pronounced. In contrast, I notice a combination of strawberry (sweet strawberry cake) and mint. The longer he breathes, the clearer I have a fruity-sweet strawberry cake. Nice!
first soft, then peppery. Oak notes with strong malt together with a creamy dark / tart chocolate. Becomes very bitter (oak wood-malt bitterness) out the back. (he may need a drop of water at the point - a further test is needed).
medium to long. I can no longer find any fruit notes, with me this bitterness of oak wood malt lays on the tongue and then persists for a very long time. I think it's a pity. A nut flavor is added later; has something of a bitter almond.
