- Typical Loch Lomond style with smoke. Sweet, buttery, vanilla, sweet caramel, smoke but not too much. Medium-long finish. Very harmonious. Great malt!
- An exciting malt that clearly stands out from many others. I like it!
Sweet and light. Light smoke, vanilla, straw and green apple. The alcohol is very well integrated and almost not noticeable.
Intense and mouth filling. Much more spicy than on the nose.
Cold wood smoke, freshly sawn wood and a bit peppery.
Medium length and spicy dry. A little smoke and bittersweet oak, with earthy notes at the end.
- Nose: A little smoke, after a wet stable in winter, a little butter, nice and fresh.
Palate: delicate smoke, vanilla, dry, delicate sweetness, pear, slightly buttery, salty and peppery.
Finish: medium-long, salty, dry, peppery, very slightly sweet.
Note: Not chilled. Not colored. Good quality is not one of my favorites.
