An extremely inviting nose opens with sandy waxes, soft wood shavings, hot workshops, horse stables and an old barn before moving towards gooseberry, clover, chopped parsley and buttery green peas. There’s further notes of white truffle oil, fresh suncream, white jelly beans and pineapple jelly. Water grounds everything a little with soil, canvas, grass, warm coals, digestive sweetness and soft, buttery cereals. To taste it is all on cream caramel, oatmeal, runny honey, tropical fruit syrups, pear liqueur, honey roast ham, corn bread, sweet coconut popcorn and a resinous streak of camphor. Water unveils mint jelly, quince, herbal liqueurs, rosehip tea, ginger marmalade, pink grapefruit and soft earthiness.
