Late Bottled Port is a vintage, vintage port that is bottled late. By law, LBV Port is bottled within 4-6 years of its vintage. LBV port wines, which often achieve the quality of real vintage bottlings, on the other hand, have softer tannins due to the longer barrel maturation.
Here it was a LBV of Dirk van Niepoort, but a newer vintage than the first LBV finishing.
