    Intense, barrel-emphasized Bowmore. Very cute.
    • Nose
Intense sticky sweet and dark fruity. Dried dates and figs in syrup. Ashy, dry smoke above it.
    • Taste
The smoke arrives on the tongue first. Followed closely by red fruits and sweet jam. Intense sweet. Somewhat perfumed.
    • Finish
Medium long, mild. Hardly any smoke. Pleasant barrel flavor.

N: Oh my, oh my. Sweeeeeeet peat. What an entry. Dried red fruits. It almost smells oily and heavy. I can´t smell any more, I gotta try this

M: So soft and mild. Oh what a surprise. Sweet, juicy and yet somehow at the same time dry sherry notes all the way. And, surprisingly, almost no smoke anymore. I like it

F: Medium long finish completely in line with the nose and mouth. Sherry pure and nothing much else.

A great and very sweet Bowmore, which is somewhat disturbed by a yeast note and definitely does not tolerate water.
    • Nose
      87 87
Sweet chocolate cake, raisins, wonderfully integrated and aromatic smoke, light ashiness and nice and greasy, sweet barbecue sauce, then here and there a few yeasty notes come through, with water suddenly the sour yeast note dominates
    • Taste
      87 87
Sweet, red fruits, a lot of pressure from the alcohol, extremely creamy and chocolaty, very warming, the smoke presses together with the alcohol, water is not good for it - it is immediately watered down with the smallest amount
    • Finish
      89 89
Spice and smoke now dominate here, accompanied by chocolate and creaminess, the whole thing remains sweet together with a few raisins on the palate

(﹁﹁) ~→The px hand-filled which is not the bottom color of the pot really doesn’t work.
    • Nose
Caramel, coffee mate, lovely vanilla, rye soft oatmeal, roasted meat, slightly salt and pepper and charcoal roasted nuts. There may be a few berries, bananas, figs, etc., but it's not worth mentioning, the wooden barrel, the lingering sense of artificial fragrance.
    • Taste
95% black chocolate, Colombian sunlight, fruit acid and tannins, after adapting to scorching bitterness, sugar, vanilla, yellow apricot, honey locust, peat are still insignificant, stove ash, pepper, tobacco.
Fair, slightly oily, low sweetness, acidity, tannins, heavy bitterness, no pungency.
    • Finish
Medium length, cocoa, sea salt, stove ash, frosting sugar.

Nose: Peat to open the way, burning haystacks, gunpowder smoke, raspberry syrup, strawberry jam, there is no euphemism, slightly earthy, vanilla almond pie, latex, licorice, burning coal.

Palate: Start with relatively fresh fruits, plums, watered grape juice, creamy papaya soup, sweet peppers, peppers, light peat, and noticeable smoke.

Finish: Longer, highly reduced cocoa powder, tobacco shreds, licorice, wet wood sticks.

Body: Medium-light, strong, medium sweetness, almost no acid, medium to low bitterness, and a small amount of tannins.

    Nose: 90

    Body: 87

Overall: Not only is it delicious in bowmore hand-filled, but it is also quite good in Shirley barrel peat wine. Of course, all of this is based on the premise of not considering the price.

    • Nose

Subtle with red fruits, especially strawberries and a hint of red currant, a lot of sweetness in the direction of vanilla, a little burnt charcoal.
    • Taste
      88 88
Alcohol noticeable, surprisingly at the age I would have guessed more gently.
Subtle smoke, slight bitterness in the direction of 70% chocolate, which then drifts very bitterly in the finish.
Otherwise surprisingly yellow fruits, such as apricots and some papaya, which are quickly replaced by the chocolate and then the bitterness.
    • Finish
      86 86
The fruitiness disappears quickly and the barrel makes itself felt, as described in the button.

The finish is relatively long and uncomfortably bitter.
