A puree of well stored apples seasoned with clove powder. Young and green twigs, tree sap, birch bark. A freshly waxed linoleum floor, an oilcloth tablecloth. Freshly harvested barley adds some crispness to the nose. Crispy rye bread, almond slivers.

What was missing in the nose: fine tart chocolate. But there are plenty of them here at the beginning. Starts dry and spicy, the seasoning resulting from a salad herb mix, pepper and some paprika. Dried pieces of apple and apricot, dry hay.

Doesn't stay very long but shows nice chocolate notes, lightly peppered and salted.
