Whisky Reviews for Maker's Mark TWA

So these Maker's Mark miniatures were probably served on TWA flights in the 1960's/1970's. A gentle nose followed by a big and robust palate.
    • Nose
Soft wheated aroma with hints of cherries and strawberries. Baked bananas as well. Maple syrup and weesbaxed furniture. Some nuttiness at the background. I love this delicate but complex profile.
    • Taste
Unexpectedly strong mouthfeel for 'just' 90 proof. This tastes like 120 proof! Lots of pine oakiness and toasted almonds. Molasses, but also eucalyptus. Soices of coriander and ginger. Later on more on bitter chocolate and raisin.
    • Finish
Long and dry. Black pepper and nutmeg. Mint at the end.
