Toffee, soft, leather, spicy
- As expected, the Bushmills is strongly dark and has a sting in the reddish. The nose is received with pronounced notes of Sherry and Madeira. Dark chocolate is also part of the flavors. The taste is not just a bunch of different notes - no, the flavors come in a clearly recognizable order. The story begins with notes of tofu, then the sherry, then the Madeira and at the end there is still a slight chilli-sharpness. The long finish is warm and leaves a slight sharpness back.
A wonderful combination of the sherry and Madeira shares, which complement each other wonderfully without ever losing their independence. This whiskey wants time when it is enjoyed.
- Very nice for a 21 year and at only 40% suprisingly long finish.
deep and complex, honeyed maltiness, wood, raisins, dark chocolate, hint of mint.
mellow maltiness, wood and raisins again, touch of toffee sweetness, spice and vanilla, hints of leather and mint.
dry maltiness, wood and raisins lingering pleasingly.
