Whisky Reviews for Allt-a-Bhainne 1991 GM
6 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 82.83 points
- First toffee and banana, then peach and vanilla before the apples and chewing gum ( remember those that came with the football cards?).
Creamy on the palate, then a bit peppery before the oak gets there on the aftertaste.
All in all a fantastic nose which doesn’t deliver thoroughly in the mouth.
All in all 85pts from Norway.
Hay, heather, grassy, white fruits, nutty
Spicy (pepper), chocolate, fruity (citrus)
Rather short, fruity, dry, delicate
- Light elegant nose with summer fruits. Continues into the taste, with a sugary coating, but also slightly oily (from nuts). Drying on the finish. Clean and elegant. Attractive and easy to drink.
Grassy, Marzipan, Pine needles,
Honey, chocolate, nuts. With water some orange peel and hay
