I can truly believe this is a Glenfarclas, it has its typical sgerry influences. Nice, sweet-sherried whisky, strong without being too hefty.
    • Nose
      87 87
Typical sherrynose, prunes, raisins, some coffee, pickering alcohol, burnt nuts
    • Taste
      88 88
Strong, powerful, pickering, intense. Coffee, pretty much chocolate, raisins. Full taste, creamy structure.
    • Finish
      87 87
Still a little pickering, honey, still some chocolate, pretty long, sweet notes.

Nose: Honey Nut Cheerios, dried fruit, vanilla taffy and citrus.

Palate: Butterscotch, cocoa, citrus, malt and dried fruit with a touch of spice.

Finish: Long -> Sweet, dark and fruity, cocoa.

It has a very slight tinge of sulphur, but it adds to the complexity than detracting. Complete with a hint of peat smoke, I'm convinced this comes from the distillery known for their pagoda. Fantastic malt by the way.
    • Nose
Hint of sulphur, berry tarts, apple peel, some blood oranges, milk chocolate, hint of smoke, nuts
    • Taste
Tart berries, hint of sulphur, chalky, oranges, chocolate, caramel, slightly leathery, milk-like texture, roasted nuts
    • Finish
Salted caramel, some brine, grapefruit pith, slight cola, moderately long

Seems to be a Glenfarclas, a fantastic one by the way.
