The nosing reminds me - apart from the smoke - of a good octomore. Ripe and full of aromas, without an alcohol sting. There's a lot of bourbon aging, but just as much Sauternesse. Salty and balanced like a Longrow 18.

A little rougher than the nose, but still very good for 7 years. A bit more one-dimensional and unfortunately not as soft as the nose l Cereal notes and young bourbon maturation. Dry and slightly tart, it is present after the initial sweetness. With water it is much rounder and I like it better that way. -
