For first time bottlers, we are pretty proud of this baby, but only time and peer review will tell how its appreciated.
Tropical fruits that you could nose for hours, with whiffs of furniture polish. Landing somewhere between the 1989/1990 Irish's and a similarly seasoned Ben Nevis
Work in progress here. First taste continued with the tropical fruit notes, with an added touch of engine oil on the mid-palate that really gave a lot of pleasure. Subsequent revisit however showed rather some pepperiness and heat, costing it a point or 2, pending further investigation. Benefits a couple of drops of water.
The polish and waxiness comes back on the finish, lingering as the fruity notes fade gently.
