Very nice bourbon aged whisky and at 49 Eur it’s great value for money. About 6 years old if I understand it correctly but having blindtested this I guessed the age to 12 years so this is well matured considering the age. It comes in a series together with two other bottlings (Hav och Timmer), and for me this is clearly the best of the three.

Nose: Light and fresh with pears, apples and not a hint of smoke anywhere. Lovely nose actually in a delicate and interesting way.
Palate: Again light and fresh and obviously a non-peated bourbon matured whisky. Fresh, fruity and elegant. Perhaps some citrus and coconut. Very interesting!

To sum this up I have to say that I am positively surprised considering the age and price of this bottle. It’s really nice and at this price range there are few whiskies that I would hold higher than this one.

    Well Done High Coast!
