  1. Kantenmechaniker scored this whisky 88 points Connoisseur

Impeccable, good to drink, the decent age is noticeable, but somehow interchangeable, lots of sherry, overall a good whiskey, but it's also a clear sign that I didn't buy a bottle after the tasting.
    • Nose
Clear sherry, dark fruits, oak, almonds, also a very nice wooden board, espresso, a few nuts also come through, milk chocolate, a good amount of furniture polish, grapes, leather
    • Taste
creamy, raisins, sticky, briefly a hint of sulfur, wood, the sherry dominates at first, light acidity, grape skin, hazelnuts, espresso, very intense, even if it is a little thinner than expected
    • Finish
tart at the back, salt, mint on the palate, the mouth is full of freshness, now a little chocolate, then a little sweetness, mandarins

Impeccable in terms of price/performance ratio...

  3. addyhd scored this whisky 90 points Connoisseur

According to what the bottler told us this is an Edrington blend wich was put together in a cask 35 years ago

  4. Piff De scored this whisky 93 points Expert Senior

Acc. to guide at Cadenhead warehouse tasting a blend of Macallan, Highland Park, Glenrothes and Invergordon.

  5. Dramming Dutchman scored this whisky 90 points Expert Senior

Very nice balanced whisky. Lots to discover in the nose and a nice medium long finish. I had this one in the warehouse tasting in 2019 and a friend gave me a dram of his open bottle to rate it. I have a closed bottle left in my collection for after retirement and think it is a good perspective. Lovely dram.

Ahh, nice antique nose, still fruity, not very bold but nice mix of old furniture, dry fruits, fresh French pastries, whiff of wood smoke, chocolates sorts, fresh cakes with double whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, polished oak, basked of overripe red apples in the garden on sunny day,

Very shy at first but then opens op on preserved fruits ( strawberry , raspberry ) freshly baked pastries, gentle oak, chocolate, hints of ripe oranges and tangerines, dunnage watehouse, pleasantly salty sweet in the second part of the development
