2 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 82.00 points

  1. MaltMartin scored this whisky 78 points Connoisseur

First bottle of the Atoc IV tasting in 2020. Interesting to taste Platte Valley from McCormick Distillery, Weston Missouri, but not much depth and complexity.
    • Nose
A bit shy at first. It's quite yeasty with some metallic notes. Husky. In addition, it also comes across as burlap bales. Flowers of freesias. heather and hay as well. Strange nose.
    • Taste
Now more on yellow apples, conference pears and melon. Later on stingy notes of nail remover. It becomes a tad bitter later on. Honey at the background.
    • Finish
Short with a little ginger. Liquorice at the end.
