The nose is sometimes almost like an old sherried Glenfarclas with its gingerbread notes, but then the HP peat reminds you this is a bit more robust affair than what they do over there.
I would not see myself paying the price of a full bottle these days, but buying and drinking one of these minis is something I recommend for any whisky fan.
