wonderful Moray, delicate and elegant; apples, white pepper, notes of citrus, honey and a little wax)
    • Nose
thin, delicate, changing over time, apples, honey, a little wax, citrus, green grass, flowers
    • Taste
good strength, hot (white pepper), but I like it
    • Finish
the aftertaste is pleasant, enveloping, warms the throat well)

  5. Dram Dracula scored this whisky 87 points Connoisseur

Quality dram but the pepperiness/spiciness is a bit too much to be thoroughly enjoyable. The sweetness is more superficial and bubblegummy than fruity. Waxy. Slightly malty. A bit of honeyed lemon liqueur. I was expecting a bit more.

  6. grinface scored this whisky 90 points Expert Senior

What a great dram. Fruity with almonds and grassy notes. Also some nuts and milk chocolate. A nice twist of lime and ginger. Full review (in german): https://keinehalbendrinks.de/2019/11/28/speyside-1990-einmal-exklusiv-einmal-verloren/

  7. malt_fan_06 scored this whisky 87 points Connoisseur

Powerful, powerful, rather restrained nose. Unfortunately, far too pure and alcoholic.
With plenty of water, this is much more edible, but unfortunately it also loses significantly in volume.
All in all a very good, but by no means outstanding malt with a fresh fruity-spicy character.
