Now the PX barrel comes out very clearly, fruity fresh sherry. Great!

Vorweg, the nose is the best with this whisky. Nice sweet, dark fruits (red grapes), but even here, the alcohol is quite present.
Unfortunately, he can not convince me in the mouth at all.
The sweetness is indeed back, but in addition a very unpleasant perfume note comes to me (but could also be some spice). The alcohol is also badly involved here.
This filling does not meet my taste and others may be happy with it.

Sadly - for me - it does not hit a chord.

Yes, you can taste the sherry, but all the bad things from sherry... like asparagus notes
(speaking cheap real sherry, not ex-sherry whiskies).

Rarely get those in whiskies itself, but here I found it quite plainly and it distracted me greatly from the - otherwise - solid made whisky.

Kept 10cl from a bottle share and did not enjoy my 5cl part of it (wife thinks the same, but she is a yay or nay).
Gonna gift the rest to someone and ask for another opinion.

Nose: cheap sherry notes (asparagus), hay, light chocolate
Mouth: alcohol is not overwhelming, but noticable, peppery
Finish: wood, some rotten vegetables (thats what killed it for me)

Mentionable: most of the participants of the bottle split did not respond with such a negative feedback, so please read mine with some caution (despite 80 is still quite good whisky)
