Whisky Reviews for Ardbeg 1990 Cask Strength
6 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 89.67 points
- Very balanced and drinkable - very good
Vanilla, sweet fruits, peaches, pineapple, peat and smoke, smoked oysters and fish, bonfire - very good
Oily, creamy, sirupy, good sweetness, fruity, yellow fruits, peat and smoke, citrusy, oranges, fruit cake - great!
Long, warm, good fruitiness and sweetness
- A creamy yet light expression, with citrus, honey and a long, salty finish.
- Ardbeg 1990/2004 'Cask Strength', 55%, OB for Japan, 1200 bottles I did not know, but I'm happy with the acquaintance. This can easily stand next to the Airigh Nam Beist , on all levels - has a similar profile. 90/100 http://onversneden.com/2010/01/20/bezoekje-aan-bb/
- the Ardbeg is ok but I expected more
a lot of peat, lemon, fresh mown grass, that smells wonderful
