with water: he does not need, de goes great without adding water, but let's try it: Oh yes, that can take a good shot of water, without crumbling, now come in the nose, the wood flavors in support even more

Conclusion: Glen Moray at its Best! An ingenious bourbon keg, which is full of strength and sweetness. The solid Destilleriecharakter and you have the almost perfect Speysider.
    • Nose
      90 90
Vanilla, cake dough, some caramel, many bright fruits like ripe apples, pear and a little peach, in the background the Brennereicharakter resonates with earthy undertones, with some time in the glass it is always sweeter, to the caramel also Waldhonig comes with, also something Mint, a few herbs and some oak wood are noticeable, the alcohol is well integrated
    • Taste
      89 89
strong, clear caramel sweetness, vanilla, biscuit, some butter, subtle herbs and some wood
    • Finish
      88 88
medium-long and strong, here too the full vanilla flavors, now also coconut, behind the wood, but without any bitter substances

A very interesting and "typical" speyside.
All about vanilla yet with a taste of pear and pineapple.
Once you add water to tone it down a bit, you start to smell the wood and a tinge of honey.
On top of all of that, the mouth is about caramel with a very waxy feel to it, oily.
A very warm finish for a very enjoyable experience overall.

Vanilla, pear, pineapple, then after water wood & honey
    • Taste
      87 87
Vanilla, pear, caramel, some sort of waxy feel to it
    • Finish
      80 80
Hot finish, lasting yet could have an extra
